Construction Law

The Construction Law Practice Group is active in all phases of construction law from contract negotiation to claims resolution and litigation. The Group handles complex construction litigation on behalf of general contractors and owners, as well as design professionals and subcontractors. The members of the Practice Group regularly provide seminars to others in the construction field on developments in the area of construction law. John Hobson, the Group's chairman, has written the State of Maine Chapter for the American Bar Association publication entitled "State and Local Public Construction Contracting Sourcebook". In addition, Mr. Hobson is president of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the Board of Governors of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.
