Lawyers in Perkins Thompson's Immigration Practice Group have practiced immigration law and have been members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association for many years. The Group's practice has been concentrated in the business and litigation substantive areas, although the firm also has experience in asylum, deportation/removal, employer sanctions, family, and naturalization issues. Specifically, the Immigration Practice Group's members have substantial experience assisting clients with issues pertaining to, among others, H-1B workers in specialty occupations, L Intracompany Transferees, and E Treaty Aliens nonimmigrant categories. Members of the Practice Group have also provided extensive service in employment-based and family-sponsored immigration. Attorneys also engage in administrative review proceedings before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
