The Intellectual Property Group at Perkins Thompson is committed to a team approach. Attorneys in the Group handle primary responsibility for issues such as federal and state trademark registrations, transfers of intellectual property in connection with transactions, preparation of licensing agreements, e-commerce issues, and business matters involving noncompetition, nondisclosure and trade secrets. The Group's attorneys work closely with attorneys in our Litigation Practice Group to address intellectual property enforcement actions, trademark and copyright infringement matters, and noncompetition disputes. Perkins Thompson has several reported cases in these fields. With the ever-changing role of technology, our practice increasingly includes a host of matters relating to computers and software, source code protection, electronics, medical devices, and design processes.
