Since joining Perkins Thompson in 1973, Mr. Cadot has concentrated in the field of Bankruptcy/Creditors and Debtors Rights. In 1995, he was certified by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification as a specialist in Business Bankruptcy Law. Over the past twenty years, he has also represented numerous financial institutions in prosecuting over nine hundred real estate foreclosure actions. Mr. Cadot is a shareholder/director of Perkins Thompson and a longtime member of its Executive Committee.

Mr. Cadot is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Cumberland County Bar Association, and the Maine State Bar Association (serving as Chair of its Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section in 1986-87). He has been listed in the Maine Bankruptcy Law section of The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White) since 1989.
