Mr. Ciraldo is primarily engaged in trials and appeals in federal court, where in addition to commercial and environmental litigation, he represents persons and business entities accused of criminal violations. Mr. Ciraldo has conducted trials in various federal and state courts around the country and has handled numerous appeals in the First and Second Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He is a shareholder/director of Perkins Thompson and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He is also General Counsel of the firm.

Mr. Ciraldo is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Maine Rules of Evidence, and is Co-Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Criminal Jury Instructions for the First Circuit Court of Appeals and co-author of the Pattern Jury Instructions for the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
