A 1975 graduate of the Harvard Law School, Mr. Hunt is a shareholder/director of Perkins Thompson, having joined the firm on a full-time basis in 1980 following the completion of his military service with the United States Air Force. Mr. Hunt's principal areas of practice fall in the areas of estate planning and probate administration, elder law, federal and state tax law, and business transactions planning for small businesses, including sales and purchases of businesses and commercial properties. Mr. Hunt is a member of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel and is the author of Maine Probate Laws and co-author of Maine Probate Procedures, two treatises on probate law and estate administration currently published by Michie Legal Publishers. Mr. Hunt serves as Chairman of the Planning Board of the Town of Cumberland and is active in many community and charitable organizations.
