Ms. McGehee handles environmental permitting for energy, subdivision and sewage disposal projects, litigates boundary and easement disputes, and negotiates real estate contracts. Her clients include energy companies, utility and manufacturing companies, citizen associations, developers, individual applicants, hotels and motels, and educational institutions. Ms. McGehee is a shareholder/director of Perkins Thompson, having joined the firm in 1981.

In addition to Maine Civil Remedies, Ms. McGehee has developed and updated a range of state and municipal forms for the benefit of other practitioners. Ms. McGehee is a member of the Cumberland County and Maine State Bar Associations.
